Logistics Coordinator
Closing Date: 24-05-2022
- Responsible for coordinating and delivering incoming (90%) and outgoing (10%) shipments on time within the travel retail industry and maintaining an accurate record of all transactions. The Logistic Coordinator will communicate with the procurement team on a daily basis, develop and update inbound schedules including local landside deliveries and outgoing shipments and prepare shipping documents for export when required.
Operational
- Communicate with the procurement team on a daily basis and update inbound delivery schedules.
- Keep an accurate record of all incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare shipping documents for export when required; this will include checking outbound consignments for accuracy and readiness for overseas vendors and local landside deliveries.
- Responds to buyers, vendors and shipping agents queries ensuring all queries are answered timely to avoid any delay of the shipment.
- Provide routing information and issue shipping instructions to ensure deliveries arrive on time and to the correct locations.
- Track consignments enroot to their destination ensuring any problems that may arise are resolved in order to avoid any unnecessary delays.
- Gather and ensure the accuracy of all shipping documentation meeting the import and export requirements.
- Work closely with the Customs clearing agent to ensure all consignments are customs cleared on time within the lead-time required.
- Verify the delivery schedules with the Procurement department and the Distribution Centre’s receiving team ensuring timely delivery of the required stock.
- Schedule all inbound consignments (Air, Sea, Road and Local) to comply with DC (Warehouse / Distribution Centre) operation in conjunction with the allocated time slots to ensure warehouse operations in not impacted due to untimely deliveries.
- Examine all outgoing consignments to ensure shipments meet the required specifications and that all proper documentation and labels have been applied before shipping.
- Coordinating with the clearing agents to track the stocks transfer from Airside to Landside ensuring all required documentations are in place to avoid any possible delay.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

- Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.

Revenue Management Systems Analyst
We are hiring for your skills to leverage and share systems knowledge across the users. You will be responsible to support your Line Manager in improving and optimizing special projects and ad hoc request.
In addition, maintain new programs and scripts to improve efficiency, implement test programs on existing and new systems across Revenue Management department. You will also be required to monitor and maintain robotic programs to identify and reduce frauds, eliminate wastage of seats. You will conduct complex analysis using various data sources and present recommendation to senior management.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role are as below,
- Administer functional database and data sources of RM applications ensuring data quality compliance and accuracy.
- Design custom applications to proactively monitor and eradicate abusive activity to complement Revenue Integrity solution.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that the work processes are followed and executed, resulting in optimal usage of RM applications..
- Analyze system logs to detect creative patterns used to circumvent controls and recommend ways to protect the revenue.
- Liaise with I.T, external vendors and RM resources to ensure the systems are integrated in the most optimal way.
- Identify operational needs and proactively develop viable solutions to support RM Analysts in their daily tasks.

- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of job related experience in Revenue Integrity.
- Knowledge of airline systems such as Altea inventory, PROS OD and/or GDS.
- Knowledge / work experience of Reservation and ticketing using Amadeus and/or other GDS.
- Good knowledge of Revenue Integrity Processes, application and technology.
- Knowledge of programming languages and coding skills would be preferred.

As the business expands this is an exciting opportunity to join our Doha Sales team. You will be responsible for managing relationships with Qatar Airways’ corporate and trade customer. - Review QR sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek out tactical revenue opportunities
- Represents QR at trade events, promotions and sales functions, including supporting educational and familiarization visits

Qualifications
