Purpose of Position 

This role is a full-time project position for an upcoming award in Qatar. Together with clients and the other Palladium team members, Project Manager frames the goals and deliverables for each client project, and has direct responsibility for crafting roles that provide growth and development opportunities for the more junior consultants in the team. Project Manager integrates findings across various internal and client working teams to ensure we achieve maximum client impact, and to ensure that the project is completed on time and on budget.  They also develop Palladium’s relationship within the broader client organization while building up their business development skills. This position will be based in Doha, Qatar, and is contingent upon contract award to Palladium.  

Primary responsibilities: 

The primary responsibilities of the Manager, Management Consulting are to:
• Develop expertise in a particular industry or two
• Partner with client and Palladium leadership to scope the project, its duration and high level work plan
• Take leadership/project management responsibility on a range of engagement types
• Demonstrate expertise in customizing service offerings to prospect clients
• Establish and manage relationships with client leadership and executives
• Oversee project delivery and make all day-to-day decisions
• Staff the project and assign roles and responsibilities to deliver required results
• Ensure the project is delivered on-time and at margin targets
• Manage scope creep and execute change orders when needed
• Ensure coordination/alignment of deliverables to maximize value
• Customize the delivery approach/best practices to meet client needs
• Ensure effective capture of project intellectual property and lessons learned
• Own the team’s professional development by identifying opportunities for growth

Reporting requirements

The role reports to the Project Director. Reporting requirements include:
• Attend all weekly meetings and other meetings as required
• Participate in regular project status updates to the project manager on client engagements
• Work with project manager or manager to compile development goals and regularly update activity against them 

Required Qualifications:

Minimum education and experience required
• 5 – 7 years of relevant business experience, preferably in strategy consulting, programme management or equivalent multi-client consulting environment
• Balanced skills in general problem solving, concept development, project management, and facilitation
• Experience with performance management methodologies, particularly the Kaplan/Norton framework, is desirable
• Experience leading teams in the delivery of consulting services

Project Overview And Position

Depending on allocations and the client needs, Consultant may be managing others on a project. This role is a full-time project position for an upcoming award in Qatar. The purpose for this role is to expand the Palladium business through building and maintaining strong portfolios with current clients and to pursue new client and business opportunities that utilise and complement our core skills and experience. In particular this position is accountable for managing and growing a portfolio of work for the Palladium portfolio. This position will be based in Doha, Qatar, and is contingent upon contract award to Palladium.

As a Palladium thought leader, the role will ensure that our technical solutions remain at the forefront of industry requirements and will oversee knowledge sharing around industry innovations and project successes. The role will lead the acquisition and delivery of high value technical solutions that deliver results and impact, continually meeting the changing needs and priorities of our clients and beneficiaries.

Primary Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities of the Project Director, Consulting are to:

  • Provide critical subject matter expertise in an area directly supportive of Positive Impact
  • Drive private sector involvement in Positive Impact
  • Lead the creation of Palladium’s intellectual property, methodology, and offerings

  • Ensure Palladium’s impact with clients exceeds expectations and delivers on the brand promise and value proposition, including everything from deliverables to everyday interactions of the Palladium team and the client

Reporting requirements
The role reports to the Regional Director, Consulting. Reporting requirements include:

Required Qualifications:

Minimum education and experience required

  • Comprehensive business experience in strategy consulting, project delivery or in strategy or business improvement role
  • A graduate degree preferred
  • Experience with performance improvement and change management methodologies is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability in client relationship management and aptitude for political sensitivity; evidence of success in generating follow-on business.
