North Oil Company Qatar Job Description

HQ Operation Officer responsible for the Ensuring the operation of general services for maintaining NOC’s tower fulfilling employees and departments requirements which include:

To organize the day-to-day office move/shifting work to keep NOC tower operational 24/7, establishment and continuous improvement of the general services and condition of the furniture’s in NOC tower.

Safely operating the General Services and ensuring every work is done as per NOC’s standards and government policies, legislation and procedures.

Office modifications and updating As built drawings and floor layouts

Responsible for office shifting/rearranging and fixing of IT equipment’s.

All the work to be carried out in NOC tower by issuing proper work permit and making sure that all the work performed by the vendors should follow NOC’s safety standards.

Making sure all the projects should be completed on time, without any delay and incidents free.

Day to day operation will be carried out with proper monitoring and necessary training to contractors for ongoing work

DATA center environment control taking care of Power supply, HVAC system, UPS, Fire suppression system FM200 and IMS 4000 system, coordinating with service providers’ vendors and maintaining services records.

Create work instruction guidelines for daily/weekly deliveries and handling lifting of heavy equipment’s. To create policy and reporting procedure for incoming and outgoing materials and equipment’s.

Reporting daily activities to Head of HQ operations and GS manager

Estimated Financial figures: 2018 Estimated allocated budget for office building/rebuilding, modification and shifting etc.

Provide required financial information to Head of HQ Operations

Estimated contractors involved: 5, contractors for different services

Supervise and monitor HQ Operation budget and expenses

Assist with completion of audits and follow up on Auditor’s recommendations

Contractors /Subcontractors reporting to HQ officer/HQ head

Reliever /stand-up for GS colleagues with similar responsibility, in case of absence/leave

Assist with completion of audits and follow up on Auditor’s recommendations.

Assist in IS department, with other required task and responsibility, when needed

ACTIVITIES

Implement & supervise all safety and security recommendations and requirements in accordance with code of conduct & guideline from the Head of HQ Operation in order to ensure that the support services are operating in a safe and secure environment, including:

Participate on guideline creation in Implementing safety & security building code and recommendation

Supervise of implementation

Supervise the synergy correction

Supervise emergency respond in case of incident

 

The main activities carried out

In charge of the day to day operations/office move of the NOC head quarter tower activities.

Managing & monitoring building maintenance team with suggestion and recommendations

Organizing periodic maintenance of office furniture’s and equipment’s and safety checks done weekly.

Prepare and submit monthly office movement Reports to the Head of HQ Operations.

Arranging office furniture’s/equipment’s for the departments as and when required.

Supervise and manage the delivery of the daily consumable’s items and Material.

Responds to all the enquiries and complaints regarding offices/building issues.

Ensure that maintenance work carried out in the NOC tower, vendors follows NOC procedures and policies.

Manage and supervise all the office equipment’s and furniture’s are in operations.

Ensure that all office furniture’s and equipment’s are tagged with barcode and maintain the inventory.

Coordinating with IS use of IS resources, and assisting IS with custom build frames and special mounts for IT equipment’s

The expected outcome

Good teamwork between GS and IS contributing and collaboration with other departments

The interfaces with other stakeholders whether internal or external

Interact with other departments internal to fulfill their requirements and interact with other tenant in same tower

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

 

Evaluate the building site and coordinate with Evacuation responds team, and prepare to evacuate and inform  GS HQ operation manager/ team

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Civil Engineering or equivalent

A minimum of 5 years of job-related experience

Strong personal focus on safety awareness and on encouraging safe behaviors

Knowledge on MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Technical knowledge and professional or HSE certifications

Fluency in written and spoken English, understanding of Arabic Bachelor’s degree in related filed
