This position requires Developing and executing the sales strategy to maximise business results through strong relationships with our global and local accounts/clients; Develops relationships and effective solutions for revenue growth, customer retention and customer
satisfaction, in order to achieve the assigned sales, ensure sufficient sales pipeline size, and owns the professional expertise to

Key responsibilities

– Identifies local market opportunities.
– Continuously review the market for new business opportunities and activities and generate profitable business prepositions
– Participates in evaluating and developing projects.
– Compiles first level business case for Business Development projects
– Provides local industry information and analysis to management.
– Contributes to, and where appropriate, drives the development of solutions to customer project / tender requirements.
– Responsible for maintenance and providing detailed overview of local Project/Opportunity Pipeline within her/his customer’s portfolio.
– Responsibility for delivering growth
– Position Maersk as their advisor of choice
– Deepen and widen the relationships between Maersk and the customer through active stakeholder management across all relevant geographies and business divisions
– Personally improve the profitability with the customer through winning new, additional (multi product) opportunities .
– Negotiate and finalize agreements on new services, pricing, service levels etc.
– Create and maintain visibility of sales pipeline and activity / results reporting
– Support operational implementation and handover to operations once the business has been landed
– Identify opportunities for additional product development and commercial positioning with new customers
– Ensure contracts and agreements for specific customer solutions are validated and signed off (service agreements, credit agreements, supplier contracts, etc.) as per corporate guidelines

We are looking for

– Proven +7 years of complex logistics and supply chain Sales experience in GCC and Qatar
– Demonstrated results – performance with top known Chemical and Aluminum customers.
– Experience from Qatar market is desirable.
– Owns contract logistics experience
– Ability to effectively build sales pipeline from historical market relationship
– Technical and Personal Skills:
– Solid experience of Chemical and industrial logistics sales required
– Proximity to Technology aspect and latest supply chain modules and trends
– A strong continuous improvement mindset
– Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
– Self motivated, who can complete tasks without supervision and who can evaluate and manage risks appropriately
– Strong analytical skills
