IBM Security needs pre-sales specialists like you to join our diverse team. In this dynamic and interesting client-facing role you are a technical sales consultant to our clients, IBM sales teams and IBM Business Partners. You understand the client’s business requirements, technical requirements and competitive landscape. The Security Technical Specialist has an in-depth understanding of products, offerings, and services within their specialty as well as strong business acumen. Candidates in this role will be responsible for the sales support of the complete IBM Security Software offerings, with a focus on Threat Management (which includes QRadar), but also for data protection (Guardium) and Identity & Access Management (IBM Security Verify) for your assigned territory, performing technical sales activities which includes:
* Engagement at various levels of the client organisation to assess and identify solutions
* Collaboration to define, design and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions
* Answer technical questions or RFPs throughout the sales process in order to progress and close sales
* Deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts.
* Presenting our solutions and your point of view
* Support technical escalations, helping client and partners to adopt our technologies
* Developing technical guidance
* Provide technical assistance for marketing activities: Regional Workshops, User Group Meetings, Sales Seminars, Meet-ups, and Trade Shows

Core Skills:
* Cybersecurity knowledge in solutions and methodologies which may include SIEM, XDR, NDR, SOAR and Cloud Security
* Experience and track record in a Technical Sales or Delivery role
* Experience in technical solution design and architectures
* Knowledge of MITTER ATT&CK (or other comparable frameworks), implementation of security use cases, connection of third-party systems to SOC/SIEMs, requirement analysis in security projects.
* Understanding of Security operations and relationships and technologies used across the SOC in Incident Response.
* Good spoken and written English.
* SaaS/Cloud experience.
* Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking, and listening
* Excellent presentation skills
* Readiness to travel regionally (up to 40%)Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– At least 7 years experience in Information Technology or Security
– At least 5 years experience in Software Pre-sales or Sales Engineering

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
– CISSP, CISM or other Security related certification

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Consulting and Delivery Security Services Leader for Qatar helps to lead the growth and management of all facets of the business, primarily by using this position and perspective to assist the business. This requires demonstrating thought leadership, sales leadership and delivery leadership and Consulting & Systems Integration leadership and deep knowledge & strong track record in more than at least 2 of the core domains : Security Strategy Risk and Compliance, Identity Access Management, SOC / Security Operations, Application and Data Security, Infrastructure & Endpoint Security, Incident Response, Red team testing and Mobile Security, cloud security and at minimum experience in data security and SO.
This role will be leading IBM Security Services Consulting & Delivery practice in Qatar and will be responsible for growth of Security Services business in Qatar.
