Cyber Security Specialist Responsibilities: –

·        Responsible for co-managing cyber security CoE infrastructure ensuring systems are well maintained and available as the business requires.

·        Perform application and system administration tasks required to keep the cyber lab operational at industry standard level.

·        Contribute the development of the cyber security services portfolio.

·        Provide technical guidance and support on current Honeywell cyber security products and services.

·        Understanding of networking fundamentals, including network hardware, systems, protocols and network management applications and tools.

·        Research solutions to challenging industrial cyber security problems.

Qualifications & Experience

·          Bachelor’s degree in computer related field such as computer science, computer information systems, electronics (In lieu of degree qualification, 7 years of directly related experience will be considered).

·          Advanced knowledge of cyber security, including expert knowledge in one or more of – malware analysis, reverse engineering, vulnerability detection/mitigation, information assurance.

·          Familiar with one or more of the following programming and scripting languages: PowerShell, Java, C/C++/C#, Python, JavaScript.

·          3-5 years troubleshooting skills to resolve basic network and application or system integration issues.

·          5 years of experience in networking technologies.

·          5 years of experience with Cyber Security Technologies.

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Cyber Security Business Consultant – HBT to be based in Qatar. In this role, you will be key to developing opportunities to drive a blend of Cybersecurity Services and Product solutions targeted at the Buildings space. Responsible for growing the Buildings Cybersecurity business and engaging in developing collaborative relationships with customer prospects, assisting in architecting solutions, designing business cases and presenting on the Buildings cybersecurity offerings portfolio. The Cybersecurity Business Consultant will partner with Honeywell account executives/business development teams, service and operations personnel in Region, providing cybersecurity expertise and technical support in the selling of the cybersecurity offerings portfolio. Focussed on creating opportunity across all industry verticals and markets, the Cybersecurity Business Consultant will engage across multiple levels from CxO to Facility Management of the client organisation. Tasked with addressing risk within operational technology environments via articulating the value of the Buildings Cybersecurity solution portfolio, constructing bill of materials (BOMs), proposals, and additional materials to meet customer requirements.

What Will You Be Doing Every Single Day?

Clients:

  • Understand the client’s external industry drivers, business imperatives and organization so that effective growth / maintain / manage strategies are developed to underpin the value that Honeywell brings to the client in order to drive real business outcomes and solution sales.

• Develop, own and lead sales in blended offerings aligned to and supporting Cybersecurity growth targets. • Lead customer facing proof of concepts and other sales motions to compete and close business.

  • Act as a ‘change agent’ in a strategic ‘make market’ capacity – engaging with executive levels of client organisations to inform and advise on framework based long term Cyber risk mitigations.
  • Identify potential external resources, third party suppliers and eco-system partners to complement and expand the Buildings Cybersecurity offerings portfolio. Sales Excellence:
  • Achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets (Orders, Rev/GM and Profit) while following established pricing and go-to-market policies.
  • Manage and maintain a balanced approach to superior client advisory and strategic account planning, quarterly results and long-term client goals.
  • Identify business improvement opportunities and focus on providing consultative support within the client’s operations in pursuit of growth targets.
  • Manage and build client contacts, serving as the client advisor and advocate.
  • Manage all sales related activity through the accurate, timely and detailed use of Salesforce.com (CRM) including opportunity reviews, win/loss analysis, pipeline funnel management, forecasting and lead generation.

Team Member:

  • Collaborate with Honeywell team/peers to share and impart knowledge.
  • Leverage resources to address client drivers and initiatives in a consultative manner.
  • Guide and leverage management and executive sponsor interactions with the client.
  • Maintain a high degree of awareness of client’s next best alternatives and communicate competitive challenges to sales management and technology teams in a timely manner.
  • Actively embrace the Honeywell Sales Management Operating System (MOS) to include one on one’s with the District Sales Leader, team calls, forecasting calls, opportunity reviews, Plan to Make Plan (PtmP) development with timely and accurate updates.

Financials:

  • Responsible for achievement of margin, orders, revenue and plans for the Region.
  • Forecast revenues to management in the form of ‘active pipeline, pursuing and commit’.
  • Deliver a year over year growth in margin, orders, and revenue within the addressable client base in order to meet both annual and long-term growth expectations of the Buildings Cybersecurity business.

What Skills and Experience Will You Have?

  • Tertiary qualified (bachelor’s degree) in a Business or Engineering related discipline.
  • Previous proven industry experience in Cybersecurity, Software as a Service (Saas), Enterprise Cloud, Mobility, ICT, Applications in critical infrastructure and Industrial Controls markets.
  • Proven software and security sales experience selling directly within the enterprise market.
  • Proven experience in expanding through large enterprise clients using strategic account initiatives.
  • Experience in creating demand, selling entry point offerings in a short sales cycle leading to further enterprise adoption of Cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Previous sales experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Local market knowledge and understanding of opportunity landscape.
  • Cross selling and consultative selling experience with proven capability in collaborating across both client and own organisation to drive a One-Honeywell approach.
  • Solid understanding of client financials and the ability to build business case investments based on risk mitigation.
  • Proven experience in selling to C-Level Executives.
  • Demonstrated executive presence, influence and leadership having worked at various levels of client organizations.
  • Proven experience developing and executing strategies for sales growth.
  • Creative, decisive, high energy and ability to energise others.
  • Understands Cybersecurity risk frameworks and Cybersecurity policy frameworks (Global/Federal/State). • Ability to interact at the executive and technical level (internally and externally).
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to uncover latent client needs, negotiate complex sales and articulate total value offerings.

Role Overview

Supports all Project Controls requirements for HBS (Honeywell Building Solutions) projects as a productive team member by participating in all project stages. Functionally reports to the Projects Controls Supervisor in the region within which he/she operates.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains project cost and schedule tools used by HBS to accurately measure, forecast and track project-related work, and associated timely delivery of these products, including resource planning.
  • Ensures the accuracy of earned value data on allocated projects.
  • Works closely with project management, contract management, engineering and construction personnel to define detailed measurement and scheduling criteria.
  • Assists, and sometimes takes lead, in producing and maintaining project schedules and associated deliverables tracking and project S curves.
  • Participates in project planning processes, defining scopes, establishing WBS & budgets on allocated projects.
  • Insures that project control procedure compliance & standards are allocated to projects.
  • Works with Project Managers to produce accurate cost estimates for change orders and maintains the change log/variance log in PV (Project Vision).
  • Works with Business Management (Program Managers, Directors, and Finance management) to report both project and program forecasts.
  • Contributes and oversees coordination of monthly project status reports to customers.
  • Performs project cost risk analysis for developing project contingency budgets and maintains run down curves for continued project cost risk assessment.
  • Manages the receivables & payables balance on allocated projects.
  • Leads and insures accurate and timely project invoicing to associated customers.
  • Participates in project risk reviews.
  • Work is usually office based but depending on individual project requirements the position may require occasional travel to and / or work in client facilities or remote construction locations.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school and some college
  • Three to seven years applicable project management/controls experience.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and advanced intermediate in Excel specifically.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree in engineering or project management preferred.
  • Hands on experience with enterprise wide cost accounting system, SAP preferred.

Where Do You Fit In?

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Senior Business Consultant to be based in Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for the Honeywell Building Solutions business in Qatar. You will build relationships and understand customer business requirements in order to provide appropriate solutions. You will also define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. In addition you will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers utilizing your industry knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers.

What Will You Be Doing Every Single Day?

  • Drive HBS & business development efforts through end-user demand generation in the Qatar market to sell related solutions and services.
  • Own the creation of market approach strategy and analyze market demand and forecast future sales targets.
  • Identify, influence, qualify and develop new opportunities while defining a value proposition for HBS by utilizing specialist industry experience, deep market understanding, and senior relationships with Customers and Partners.
  • Communicate to leadership on a regular basis and maintian records of pipleine/opportunity status (including RFIs/RFQs/RFPs), forecasting activity, and other information as requested using our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Influence business leaders, channel representatives, project and program managers to drive operational and financial efficiencies.
  • Ensure highest conversion rate from qualifies pipeline to actual projects award.
  • Develop and execute sales and pursuit strategies and act as focal point of accountability for key tactical pursuits and coordination of resources; working with support team, SBU management, and key partners to develop project execution plans for key pursuits.
  • Build relationships with local account managers, sales and regional management and other Honeywell functional groups, as well as alliance partners and key suppliers.
  • Provide expert technical input and solution reviews to proposal team on key bids.
  • Support development of technology roadmap, working in conjunction with Honeywell product marketing and technology development resources.
  • Support marketing efforts, including trade shows, publications and industry specific advertising
  • Provide other support as needed to drive sales.

What Skills and Experience Will You Have?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Information Technology Engineering.
  • Significant experience within a sales capacity proven track record in selling turnkey solutions alongside experience in working with large/ mega projects.
  • Working knowledge of the A market within the ELV industry with an established network of clients.
  • Previous proven experience with Security, Safety, Controls, Energy, Building Management, ELV selling.
  • Significant experience in a Sales/Account/Vertical Management/Business Development related field.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in the ELV domain working on Operations, Projects delivery, Engineering or Services functions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.
  • Ability to influence across a broader organization.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (preferable)
