We have a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded, results driven individual to join Honeywell’s Building Management Systems Team (BMT) as a Senior Account Manager based in Doha, Qatar.  The purpose of this role is to promote the sales of Honeywell BMS Partner Channel portfolio through the System Integrators and distributers in Qatar & Kuwait to ensure that annual personal and department sales volume and distribution objectives are achieved in terms of bookings, billings and operating profit.

·        Develop and maintain relationships with end-users and consulting engineers to specify and influence Honeywell BMS brand specification and create value.

·        Actively seek new business opportunities in line with department targets

·        Manage relationships with allocated partners and potential customer’s accounts across the assigned market by monitoring sales and negotiating orders to maximize revenue in accordance with pre-defined targets.

·        Following up undergoing and upcoming projects with contractors and ensure that allocated partners bid to these projects and follow up thereafter to secure orders to Honeywell BMS products and systems.

·        Monitor and maximize own sales volume and distribution to meet or exceed annual targets.

·        Provide commercial and marketing support for partners by conducting presentations and demonstrations as required and actively promoting new products and systems.

·        Seek out competitor information, maintain knowledge of new developments in the market place and communicate information to the Partner Channel Manager.

·        Maintain a good understanding of customer needs and expectations and handles all customer complaints or concerns appropriately and in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

·        Submit weekly, monthly and as requested Business Reports to management, ensure optimum use of Online CRM tools and resources as advised by management.

·        Maximize the Honeywell BMS opportunities by working across the LOB’s with more offerings.

·        Cash Collection from the respective partners.

Qualifications and Experience

·        Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in Engineering – Electronics or Mechanical

·        7 years Plus experience in sales account management (BMS , ELV industries, Channels, SIs)

·        A broad knowledge of sales principles and best practices

·        Knowledge and understanding of BACnet, LON, Modbus, OPC and other industry standard communication protocols

·        Deep knowledge of Field devices, valves and actuators

·        Experience in understanding key vertical needs like Healthcare and Hospitality.

·        Excellent team and communication skills

·        An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction

·        An ability to influence at the operational level

·        An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships

·        Significant experience in selling BMS products

·        Deep technical expertise

·        Understanding of the Honeywell value proposition as well as the competitive landscape

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Application Engineer experienced in process performance to join Honeywell’s Connected Enterprise Team based in Qatar. You will be responsible for projects, services & pre-sales, collaborating with the Project Manager, for all aspects of successful process optimization and simulation delivery including client contact, project conception, engineering, resource management, scheduling and implementation.

Senior Application Engineer Responsibilities:

· Responsibility for technical design & delivery of process optimization in alignment with the customer requirements and to the full satisfaction of the client unlocking the targeted business value using state of the art technology.

· Identify process control & optimization improvement opportunities at various chemical manufacturing sites. Lead feasibility studies for implementing control optimization solutions considering design, equipment, & operational constraints, product prices and optimization objectives to prepare the ROI.

· Provide pre-sales support using commercial, technical, & functional knowledge to identify requirements, risks and assumptions, compile estimates, prepare proposals and presentations/demos as appropriate to further the pursuit and submit the bid.

· Provide consulting support and/or lead critical project activities, ensuring buy-in and acceptance from the customer including, but not limited to – Project Kick Off, Pre-Test & Tuning, Step Testing, Inferential development, Model Acceptance Testing, Commissioning & SAT.

· Conduct training to plant operations & customer engineering teams on Honeywell suite of process performance solutions.

· Work as customer facing lead coordinator for Operator Training Simulator application with the support from back office technical lead.

· Identify/troubleshoot process unit operations, software, and instrument problems. Create and implement new strategies to improve process efficiency, process control utilization & reliability. Support start-up activities if required.

· Act as a process control subject matter expert for process hazards analysis, process design modifications, risk assessment review, alarm management, and incident investigation.

· Proactively recommend potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering/ product development group. Regularly identify & communicate risk in the project and prepare mitigation plans.

· Share technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other disciplines. Lead or support improvement technology plans developed by business technology leaders and influence the product development.

· Communicate with internal team regarding technical issues, escalating these early in the project.

· Cultivate client relationships as a trusted technical advisor while identifying revenue & growth opportunities for Honeywell in the Process Optimization space.

· Promote adjacent process performance solutions including but not limited to process simulation & design, operator training / simulations, blending & movement automation.

· Review operating & control philosophies, process description, P&ID, PFD, proposal documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

· A minimum of 6 years demonstrated experience in delivery of process optimization solutions

· Degree in Chemical Engineering

· Hands on application experience implementing Real-Time / Multi-Variable Optimization solutions in multiple industries including but not limited to Refining, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, & Oil & Gas.

· Experience developing inferential / property predictors.

· Expert product knowledge of industry standard process optimization solutions.

· Programming languages (Visual Basic, CL, Fortran)

· DCS/Operator Stations e.g., Honeywell Experion & TDC3000, Yokogawa Centum V/CS/CS3000, Siemens, Foxboro, ABB, Emerson or others

· Expert experience with PID Tuning and implementation of Advanced Regulatory Control

· Excellent understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and control theory

· Excellent verbal, written communication & presentation skills in English. Arabic (added advantage).

· Strong team player able to work effectively with customers, multidisciplinary project teams and other departments within the company.

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting & and problem-solving skills, quality oriented, logical & thorough.
