In a typical day as Data & AI Solution Architect, you would.

•Be responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses

•Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams

•Communicate strategy and technology roadmaps to executive staff, industry partners and customers; leverage recognized technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business strategy and decision-making at the highest organizational levels

•Be a trusted advisor to create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to ensure customer satisfaction

•Contribute to the organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development

•Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge in data, analytics and AI space

•Assist the sales team in positioning and selling solution offerings, including product and services

•Write, deliver and present formal SOW’s (Statement of Work), including scoping and estimating projects

•Deliver SOW content in formal, hands-on, onsite customer engagements and ensure the on-time delivery and quality of Professional Service engagements

•Master the Ezmeral Data Fabric, Container Platform, Unified Analytics and MLOps, including MapR and the Eco-System products and maintain proficiency and currency as the technology evolves and advances

•Achieve and maintain proficiency with big data cluster and framework sizing, installation, performance optimization, cluster migration, security and automation

•Achieve proficiency with MapR (e.g., DB Binary, JSON Tables, MapR Event Stream) sizing, performance tuning and multi-master replication

•Achieve proficiency with AI/ML pipelines and automation (e.g., Notebooks, Apache Spark 3.x, KubeFlow (experiments, pipelines, Seldon Core, Katib), MLFlow, Airflow)

If you ar

•Master’s degree in CS / AI / Data Engineering

•5+ years experience as a Senior Data / AI Engineer / Architect

•Experience with solution / service design and pre-sales

•Experience in end-to-end enterprise architecting

•Familiarity with commercial IT infrastructures including storage, networking, security, virtualization and systems management

•Experience architecting / operating solutions related to big data / AI / ML on-premises (Hadoop or Apache tools) or in the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)

•Familiarity with products such as Cloudera, MapR, DataBricks, Spark, TensorFlow, Kafka

•Experience in  designing / deploying complex AI / ML frameworks using Docker / Kubernetes preferred but not required

•Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Kubernetes or Chef

•Experience with open source software platforms and languages (e.g. Python, Scala, Java)

•Strong verbal and written communication skills are required

•Ability to professionally manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision and deliver on schedule

•Willingness to travel up to 30%

In a typical day as an HPE Storage Specialist, you would.

  • Participates in deep-dive discussions and gathers information about customer technical needs and assesses customer’s current IT infrastructure and translates the technical view into the implementation view to architect an overall technical solution.  Additionally, defines technical alternatives and possible shortcomings to the proposed solution.

  • Seek out new opportunities and expands and enhances existing opportunities to build and manage the pipeline in specialty area.
