LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE ADVISOR

Job Objective

  • To provide accurate and timely legal advice on all legal matters and law that impacts or may impact the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates including identification and management of legal risks, providing legal assistance to all departments on company affairs.  The position will be responsible for identifying and addressing legal issues associated with the company, and also will assist and liaise with external Lawyers engaged by the company on all legal matters of the company handled by them.
  • To Spearhead Compliance Management function of the Company by establishing the requisite framework including owning, reviewing and updating the Compliance Monitoring manual (Non-aviation aspects).

Description

Legal Responsibilities

  • Support all departments in matters related to legal aspects of the company. Provide consultation, legal advice (as appropriate) to CEO and department head on general legal issues of the company.
  • Provide legal insight and support to CEO on corporate developments, such as corporate restructuring, business ventures, partnerships or Joint ventures and due diligence conducted in this regard.
  • Provide guidance for ensuring adherence to legal aspects in drafting policies, rules and regulations for the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Review and provide recommendations as deemed necessary on all policies and procedures of the company for ensuring that, they comply with local laws and regulations.
  • Promptly attend to, diagnose and participate in problem solving of various legal issues pertaining to GHC activities and seek external Legal support wherever necessary for ensuring that their legal status is compliant with local laws and regulations.
  • Draft new contracts, deeds, tenders, proposals, resolutions, rules, regulation and other legal documents. Review existing legal documents.
  • Provide legal advice and support to HR on personnel matters, including but not limited to investigations, employee grievance and claims.
  • Manage legal disputes of the company by liaising with external lawyers.
  • Monitor and supervise legal issues handled by external lawyers and provide them accurate particulars.
  • Coordinate within the company and with external lawyers for determining appropriate legal course of action on all legal issues faced by the company.
  • Be a custodian for maintaining all confidential documents assigned by CEO.

Compliance Responsibilities

  • To delegate and supervise compliance officer (or a person designated as such) in executing compliance tasks enumerated in the compliance monitoring manual including planning and executing compliance audit.
  • To perform advisory role as per compliance monitoring manual so as to support compliance with laws and regulations to which the organization is exposed. Further, provide legal support to Compliance officer in preparation and review of compliance register and checklist, liaise with external lawyers / authorities for obtaining clarification / confirmation on applicability / inapplicability of various laws affecting the company
  • Review, validate and approve compliance audit reports / other reports prepared by the compliance officer, and ensure submission of final reports to the management and support further submission to board.
  • Perform any other tasks as described to be performed by the legal consultant in the compliance monitoring manual.

Other responsibilities:

  • Establish a system for managing and monitoring all the tasks handled.
  • Perform activities of Board Secretary
  • Perform any other duties / tasks as assigned by CEO.

  • Reviewing legal / contractual documents within specified time limits.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in law or other comparable discipline
  • Professional certification from relevant institutions preferred.

Experience

  • Five to Eight years relevant experience

  • Experience in liaising with external lawyers and legal firms

LICENSE AVIONICS ENGINEER B2 – AW139/AW189/S92

Job Objective:

Responsible to carry out and certify all avionics tasks and to supervise the avionics technician while carrying their duties.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Carry out all required avionics maintenance tasks IAW applicable maintenance manuals, company standards and procedures, and the competent aviation authority regulations.
  • Supervise avionics technicians in performing their duties
  • Certifying all carried out tasks, and releasing to service aircrafts and components within the scope of held authorization.
  • Carry out all required paper work related to the assigned task including filling different forms and making parts requests etc.
  • Ensure that used test equipments and tools are serviceable, and are handled properly, also ensure equipments and tools are returned to their designated areas after use.
  • Ensure that all used manuals are handled properly, and are returned to their designated areas after use.
  • Follow Company issued publications such as Engineering Department Instructions, Technical instructions, and other publications and internal memos.
  • Following safety procedures,and using available protective equipments.
  • Maintain good housekeeping within the avionics premises, and working areas.
  • Advice the avionics supervisor of concerns regarding safety, and procedures.
  • Carry out other related work as assigned by the avionics supervisor.
  • Any other duties as required by direct Supervisor.
  • Number of delays (of scheduled flights) due to maintenance issues
  • % of tasks completed within set time frame
  • Number of issues/delays with refuelling of aircraft.

Qualification and Experiences

  • Possess Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence issued under the provision of ICAO Annex II in Avionics with all categories, or unrestricted EASA Part 66 B2 Licence.
  • Candidates must hold valid Type Rating on AW139 with Theorical and Practical Trainings from a recognized part 147 Organization. TR on AW189 will be an added advantage.
  • 6 months Practical demonstration in the two years.

OPERATION ASSISTANT

Job Objective

Assist the Operations Officers in the Administration of Daily Flight Operations and supervise and organize passenger baggage and freight handling duties at Doha heliport.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Check-In passengers including preparation of manifests, weighing of baggage and freight.
  • Ensure baggage is loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in passenger and freight loading, when required.
  • Assist in preparation of freight and external loads.
  • Ensure all passengers receive safety briefings in accordance with company requirements prior to helicopter boarding.
  • Prepare and control of offshore Identity Cards.
  • Cleanliness of Terminal, Terminal surrounds, Car Parking Area and Operational Offices.

TECHNICAL SERVICES ENGINEER

CLOSING DATE : 31/03/2022

Job Objective:

Responsible for co-ordination with all third-party customers, repair and overhaul and design agencies, providing technical support to Doha main base, out station operations and to support Engineering Management by oversight of all aspects of engineering, to ensure efficient, cost effective and safe activities are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Single point of contact with OEM’s for co-ordination of requests for repair schemes and with regard to all technical matters.
  • Single point of contact with Design Agencies for co-ordination and provision of technical data in relation to modifications required for Company aircraft i.a.w QCAA certification and regulation requirements.
  • Participate in the investigation of aircraft incidents and accidents as requested, aircraft incidents and component failures, and to recommend necessary actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Assist in monitoring of computer trend systems
  • P&WC HECTM
  • Exceedance monitoring system and Turbine Tracker
  • Any other monitoring systems that may be introduced
  • Review all Technical Literature issued by Aircraft and Engine Manufacturers, Vendors and Airworthiness Authorities and recommending necessary action to embody improvements, to ensure Flight Safety and continued Airworthiness of Company aircraft.
  • Respond to all technical queries generated from the Company Main Base of Operation and from operations away from base, as applicable, and taking the appropriate action by issuing Alert Messages, and recommending changes to the Approved Maintenance Programme and the Company CAME & MOE, where appropriate.
  • Punctually reviewing all Company Incident Reports, Voyage Reports, MOR’s & MEMS for engineering content and taking the necessary action to prevent a re-occurrence. This function is to be carried out in conjunction with Director of QCM&HSE, CA Manager, Technical Services and Reliability Manager and where appropriate, the manufacturer or repair agencies and any other agencies as applicable.
  • Identify and recommend action with regard to defects likely to compromise Flight Safety.
  • Review requests for amendments to Company Technical Publications for validity and making recommendations to the QCM&HSE department (Quality Compliance Monitoring and Health Safety Environment) for amendment incorporation, as appropriate.
  • Review the reliability of components in order to reduce or eradicate problems affecting those components, which realise an unacceptably high failure rate, at minimum cost to the company.
  • Liaise with the Procurement Department to devise at minimum cost to the Company, solutions aimed at reducing high DOC items.
  • Analysis of trends for component and consumable consumption in coordination of the Finance Department for Management understanding and information.
  • Optimise component procurement policy by identification of suitable vendors with prices and terms and conditions that are deemed to be in the best interests of the Company.  Assist the Procurement Department on the technical aspect of overhaul and repair of aircraft components and equipment.
  • In liaison with the Technical Services and Reliability Manager, review and monitor all component including power section and reduction gearbox repair quotations for cost and work scope and identify adverse trends.
  • Maintaining an accurate recording and filing system to ensure that any relevant information regarding past and present projects is readily identified for consideration in any new arising.
  • Liaise with third party customers on technical issues as and when required, and in conjunction with the Director of Engineering and Maintenance Manager, produce quotations for third party work.
  • To carry out any other appropriate duties as detailed by the Continuing Airworthiness Manager or Technical Services and Reliability Manager.

Qualification and Experiences

  • Licensed A&C or Avionics Engineer with a minimum of 7 years’ experience on Company Type(s) and holding the relevant ratings.

  • Academic degree in technical discipline from a university or other higher educational institution with minimum of 3 years of experience in continuing airworthiness environment.
