The Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for building relationships with potential and existing customers through social media networks, branding, and managing internal and external company events ensuring the company’s sustained success and market visibility.

The job contributes towards increasing the company’s visibility and brand recognition in the market, which supports improving customers acquisition and customers’ retention.

Principal Job Accountabilities

  • Advertise the company and products and services through a range of media outlets
  • Produce marketing material for the local company website/LinkedIn/Instagram
  • Continuously expand and search for best social media channels
  • Craft and send regular news updates and arrange publishing local newsletters with company updates

GAC Qatar Job Description

The Customer Service Representative provides operational support to our Liner department and builds strong customer relationships. The role requires an experienced candidate with in-depth industry knowledge and working closely with the Operations and Sales Support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute export bookings with the coordination of the Principal.
  • Coordinate with Key Accounts regarding sailings/sending loading bookings to Principal within deadlines.
  • Update inventory/backload lists after receiving FCL reports, coordinate with the transport department for discrepancies and maintain separate stock inventory for the lines.
  • Monitor empty containers (extended stays, storage, container conditions), coordinate with clients and update internal reports.

Selection Criteria:

The successful applicant will be a passionate professional with liner, freight forwarding, or logistics experience. The role requires a strongly driven and team-spirited individual with a keen eye for detail and customer service satisfaction excellence.
