Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Establish the short and long-term strategy for the healthcare, translate it into business plans with objectives and performance indicators and report on the progress of activities against those plans to measure success to support the achievement of PIH’s strategic objectives.
  • Build and lead a motivated, engaged and competent manpower throughout the healthcare, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Recommend an optimum organization structure for the healthcare in coordination with N-1 and the Human Resources, to ensure efficient and effective workflow of operational processes and optimal utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources in the development of the healthcare’s manpower plan to ensure timely and best-of-class delivery of tasks.
  • Prepare and recommend the healthcare’s budget in alignment to the respective annual business plan and ensure proper cascading into departmental budgets.
  • Lead Elegancia Healthcare wide efforts to implement a comprehensive quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) plan, improve patient safety and patient experience, coordinate infection prevention activities, and manage accreditation and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with QAPI plan.
  • Lead on the successful accreditation of all Elegancia facilities with the first 18 months or earlier of operations.
  • Facilitate Elegancia Healthcare wide efforts to provide services consistent with evidence-based clinical guidelines and industry best practices, support efforts to reduce medical errors and eliminate preventable harm, lead efforts to measure and improve patient experience and help design efficient systems for responding to patient complaints and grievances.
  • Manage activities related to accreditation and regulatory compliance, and help the organization achieve quality and safety related annual goals and objectives.

Job Summary

Staff Nurse / Registered Nurse provides and coordinates patient care utilizing the nursing process. Care is delivered using a family/patient-centered approach and is guided by the (The View Hospital) Professional Practice Model. The RN adheres to TVH mission, vision and values and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest quality of patient care. She/he practices in accordance with the Codes of Ethics of the Ministry of Public Health and of the International Council of Nurses (ICN); core standards of care of designated work area; and TVH policies and procedures. Is accountable for scope of clinical practice, escalating to Nurse manager matters that are outside own control or competence.

Staff Nurse / Registered Nurse is responsible to provide safe, effective Nursing care to serious ill, injured patients using professional knowledge and skills as per TVH’s policies and procedures as well as ensuring that assigned patients are receiving the required multidisciplinary care on time.
