Role Objective 

Cash Management Services Officer will serve as the product expert of cash management services and will work closely with the Business Units in meeting cash management needs of corporate clients. The incumbent will liaise with the respective stakeholders for identification of opportunities in terms of customized cash management services and support in increasing product penetration and profitability. The incumbent will support the Manager – Cash Management Services in business enhancement, cross sales, customer retention efforts, enhanced service delivery, and support in product development and management efforts of value-added/customized cash management services

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support in sales of Cash Management service solutions to the corporate clients, including but not limited to correspondent banking services, local/international fund transfers, WPS payment, credit management, cash collection, Bill payments and other e-banking services.
  • Maintain robust relationships with the existing/new corporate clients to expand Doha Bank’s cash management services portfolio.
  • Research and report on the latest products / regulations pertaining to Cash Management Service solutions / sector outlook studies /trends.
  • Work closely with the Business Units in analysis banking services and financial standing of the clients, to identify opportunities to introduce cash management services to the respective sector clients.
  • Liaise with the Business Units / Corporate clients in continuous identification / analysis of client needs/challenges and competitive insights for leveraging the cash management service business.
  • Provide necessary coordination / analysis efforts and administrative support in enhancement efforts of the existing cash management service solutions portfolio by creating incremental value-added features through competitive pricing, convenience and availability.
  •  Extend support to the Manager-Cash Management Services and Product Manager in digital product development /enhancement/product bundling capabilities, and support in commercialization process.
  • Ascertain cash management requirements of the clients and support in preparation of business proposals in terms of customized products.
  • Actively engage in joint visits, or calls with the Business Unit teams, and proactively close and/or share referrals to the respective Business Units.
  • Perform liaison efforts with the respective internal stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding and management of corporate clients’ in terms of demonstrations, RFP response, required documentation, and query resolution.
  • Liaise with the respective Business Units, Corporate clients and other stakeholders, as applicable, in support of cross sales efforts, through appropriate propositions.
  • Contribute towards and support in implementation of efficient client retention / anti-attrition strategies, in support of the sales efforts.
  • Liaise with the operational functions to ensure that the operational framework is working effectively, thus resulting in reduction of TAT and enhancing client experience.

Educational Qualifications

  • University graduate with a degree in Business or Banking or Finance or any other related discipline.

STRATEGIC

The LG Officer will ensure timely processing of the foreign LG transactions in accordance with bank and regulatory guidelines.   • Receive and check the duly filled LG application from customer/corresponding bank (as applicable) for correctness of details against the terms and condition of Letter of Guarantee and verify the customer’s signature against the core banking system. (as applicable)
  • Adhere to/ follow audit, compliance and procedural control measures set by the management with respect to AML initiatives.
  • Ensure that clauses stated in the LG application/covering letter does not conflict with regulatory guidelines related to Letter of Guarantee.
  • Ensure modifications effected to the details stated in the LG applications (if any) are duly authorized by the customer.
  • Generate transaction application from the core banking system with a view to ascertain the financial position of the customer/corresponding bank, as applicable.
  • Coordinate with the RMs to obtain necessary approvals from the sanctioning authority (credit committee) if the beneficiary position is not within the limit set by the management.
  • Initiate the lodging process by inputting LG data onto the system along with commission/charges, as applicable, to further the generation of guarantee reference number.
  • Ensure that the lodging process is carried out in line with the request raised by the customer/corresponding bank and URDG 758 guidelines.
  • Prepare the guarantee letter as per the prescribed format for approval from the relevant authorities.
  • Dispatch copy of the LG advices to the customer/beneficiaries’/correspondent of beneficiary with receipt of due acknowledgement, as applicable.
  • Receive applicant’s instructions on prescribed form, generate transaction application and liaise with the RMs to obtain necessary approvals from the approving authority for initiating amendments.
  • Prepare amendment instructions, and related SWIFT message/mail confirmation, compute charges and dispatch copy of the amendment / extended LG advices to the customer/beneficiaries’/correspondent of beneficiary with receipt of due acknowledgement, as applicable.
  • Generate the transaction reports on daily basis to ascertain guarantee expiry dates and promptly advise all respective stakeholders on expiry date/deadlines and procedures.
  • Promptly respond to and/or escalate the queries raised by Doha Bank Customers/employees to the technical support team/reporting officer, as applicable.
  • Liaise/follow up with the applicants and/or beneficiaries on matter related to the extension/amendments/expiry of LG’s, as applicable.

The Transaction Matching & Monitoring Officer will perform customer dispute resolution through investigating, analyzing and validating information and provide support in settlement operations, as per the approved TMM procedures, and SLAs.   • Receive the customer complaints routed through the branches/call center/ message center or other internal departments in relation to Visa/Master Card payment partners.
  • Share the details to the Visa/Master Card payment partners, probing their response within the prescribed timeframe, upon receipt of customer complaints.
  • Ensure that responses from the payment partners are promptly shared with the customers, upon due receipt and supporting documents are obtained, on account of non-resolution of complaints, if any.
  • Provide adequate support in processing chargeback to the customers from the payment partners on account of non-resolution of customer complaints, post the retrieval phase.
  • Provide adequate support with respect to the pre-compliance/ pre-arbitration activities for clearing ongoing customer disputes post the chargeback phase.

  • Ensure that the e-journals related to ATM transactions are duly downloaded/printed/ documented daily, to meet procedural requirements.
  • Ensure that all credit/debit cards captured from the Doha Bank ATM machines are promptly processed and shared necessary communications with the respective branches/ corresponding banks, in line with the TMM procedural guidelines.
  • Verify and perform reconciliation of NOSTRO accounts for all TMM transactions carried out outside Qatar.
  • Perform and ensure that the General Ledgers related to daily settlements with payment partners/platforms are reconciled daily.
  • Ensure that financial transactions related to settlement of disputes are thoroughly checked prior to posting in the core banking system.
  • Download and reconcile transaction reports related to ATM withdrawals and deposits suspense accounts for Qatar and Overseas branches, as applicable.
  • Perform reconciliation of all transactions in relation to ATM excess withdrawal/deposits, QCB settlements etc within the prescribed time limit.
  • Receive the customer complaints routed through the branches/call center/ message center or other internal departments, in relation payment partners, and prepare case sheets, thereof.

The incumbent will be responsible for the checking the correctness of application received, end to end correspondence preparation support throughout the process, and timely dispatch of original/amended LG documents to the customers. The job holder will act as the custodian of all records to comply with audit/procedure standards.

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform all operational activities as assigned by the LG manager in compliance with local regulations, Doha Bank’s policies and approved Trade Finance policies and procedures.
  • Receive and check the duly filled LG application from customer/corresponding bank (as applicable) for correctness of details against the terms and condition of Letter of Guarantee and verify the customer’s signature against the core banking system. (as applicable)
  • Adhere to/ follow audit, compliance and procedural control measures set by the management with respect to AML initiatives.
  • Ensure that clauses stated in the LG application/covering letter does not conflict with regulatory guidelines related to Letter of Guarantee.
  • Ensure modifications effected to the details stated in the LG applications (if any) are duly authorized by the customer.
  • Generate transaction application from the core banking system with a view to ascertain the financial position of the customer/corresponding bank, as applicable.
  • Coordinate with the RMs to obtain necessary approvals from the sanctioning authority (credit committee) if the beneficiary position is not within the limit set by the management.
  • Initiate the lodging process by inputting LG data onto the system along with commission/charges, as applicable, to further the generation of guarantee reference number.
  • Ensure that the lodging process is carried out in line with the request raised by the customer/corresponding bank and URDG 758 guidelines.
  • Prepare the guarantee letter as per the prescribed format for approval from the relevant authorities.
  • Dispatch copy of the LG advices to the customer/beneficiaries’/correspondent of beneficiary with receipt of due acknowledgement, as applicable.
  • Receive applicant’s instructions on prescribed form, generate transaction application and liaise with the RMs to obtain necessary approvals from the approving authority for initiating amendments.
  • Prepare amendment instructions, and related SWIFT message/mail confirmation, compute charges and dispatch copy of the amendment / extended LG advices to the customer/beneficiaries’/correspondent of beneficiary with receipt of due acknowledgement, as applicable.
  • Generate the transaction reports on daily basis to ascertain guarantee expiry dates and promptly advise all respective stakeholders on expiry date/deadlines and procedures.
  • Promptly respond to and/or escalate the queries raised by Doha Bank Customers/employees to the technical support team/reporting officer, as applicable.
  • Liaise/follow up with the applicants and/or beneficiaries on matter related to the extension/amendments/expiry of LG’s, as applicable.
  • Maintain filing of all documents in the respective foreign LG, including but not limited to telecommunication messages, mail instructions, applications and other supporting documents, in the prescribed order of document filing.
  • Liaise with Administrative/Central Archives representative for transfer of records for archiving to the Archives and Records center, and further retrieval on account for reference, or litigation and/or other reasons, as directed by the reporting officers.
  • Maintain highest standards of confidentiality, professional conduct, ethics and integrity in the provision of services in the section

Educational Qualifications

  • University graduate – (B. Commerce)

Experience/Skills

  • 3 to 5 years in Foreign Guarantees, preferably in a similar Industry
  • Bilingual Candidates Preferred (English/Arabic)

  • Notify the branch/customer on account of any missing documents/ details if any, found in the service request.
  • Generate transaction application (in case if required) with a view to ascertain the financial position of the customer, as applicable to ensure fund availability.
  • Initiate the lodging of memorandum/liability in the system, to further the generation of sequential reference number.
  • Promptly respond to and/or escalate the queries raised by Doha Bank Customers/ employees to the technical support team/ reporting officer, as applicable.
  • Maintain filing of all documents in the respective LTR files, including but not limited to mail instructions, applications and other supporting documents, in the prescribed order of documents filing.
  • Liaise with the Administrative/ Central Archives representative for transfer of records for archiving to the Archives and Records center, and further retrieval on account for reference, or litigation and/or other reasons, as directed by the reporting officers.
  •  Maintain highest standards of confidentiality, professional conduct, ethics and integrity in the provision of services.

A Security Officer patrols, monitors, and observes security procedures to ensure a safe Guest and Member experience while investigating theft and managing instances of undesirable behaviour.

What will I be doing?

As a Security Officer, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling staff entrances, patrolling on a regular basis, and managing undesirable behaviour to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience. A Security Officer will also be required to investigate theft and support evacuation procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Monitor and control staff entrances
  • Conduct regular searches of bags, etc. carried by members of staff and report discrepancies or violations immediately
  • Control the Goods pass out procedure for any items purchased, loaned, or otherwise legitimately obtained
  • Maintain system that monitors contractors working in the hotel in accordance with company health and safety policies
  • Responsible for checking goods received out of hours
  • Maintain system that records the issue and receipt of departmental keys
  • Operate, check and monitor the CCTV system
  • Patrol the hotel on a regular basis ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded
  • Ensure safe passage of cash transfers within the hotel
  • Support evacuation of the hotel during fire alarm situations
  • Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures
  • Provide secure storage for guest oversized items
  • Ensure hotel facilities and function rooms remain secure and locked when not in use
  • Maintain the Security Log Book and Incident Reports
  • Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage and other incidents
  • Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations
  • Liaise with Police in the absence of Security Team Leader
  • Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
