POSITION SUMMARY

Engage hotel guests to enhance the service experience through activation of all outlet services within the lobby area (e.g., Restaurant & Bar, Front Desk, Business Center, Lounge, etc.). Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g., transportation, reservations, dry cleaning) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers. Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction. Gather, summarize, and provide local area knowledge to inform guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and local activities. Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Bellperson, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage Server) as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or problem.

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. POSITION SUMMARY

Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment. Maintain and conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant. Monitor and control property temperature. Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage. Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment. Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring. Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, etc. Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.

JOB SUMMARY

Provides a high level of property maintenance knowledge. Position has overall responsibility for maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 6 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.

• Works with property and regional engineering leadership team to determine how Engineering is performing against budget and highlights areas of concern to leadership.

• Administers service contracts to support property needs.

• Ensures fire crew has complete understanding of all procedures, equipment and alarms.

• Coaches and supports engineering leadership team to effectively manage controllable expenses (e.g., wages, heat, light and power, water consumption, tools and equipment, grounds keeping supplies, uniforms, vendors, service agreements, inventory, etc.).

• Manages and controls heat, light and power.

• Develops an engineering operating strategy that is aligned with the property/brand’s business strategy.

• Ensures integration of departmental goals in game plans.

• Oversees execution of long term preventative maintenance and 10 year asset protection plans.

• Reviews financial reports and statements to determine how Engineering is performing against budget.

Maintaining Engineering Standards

• Ensures compliance with state, local and federal regulations.

• Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently.

Managing Profitability

• Manages areas of operation to budget by reviewing operating statements, budget worksheets and payroll progress reports.

• Monitors and manages the payroll function.

• Manages department’s controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
